Baptism Sunday (3/11)

It's time to celebrate baptisms!

What is Baptism?
Baptism does not save a person, but we believe that Christians should be baptized. We believe that baptism is for those who have chosen to put their faith in the saving work of Jesus Christ—a public declaration of an inward decision to follow Christ. We believe that baptizing by immersion in water is a faithful representation of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection.

Why be Baptized?
Because Jesus has called everyone of his followers to be baptized. Baptism should be one of our first steps of obedience. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…” (Matthew 28:19)

Baptism provides an opportunity for every believer to publicly acknowledge their faith. “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32)

Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace alone, and the outworking of this faith is demonstrated by obedience. Taking the step of baptism demonstrates our obedience to Christ! Now is your time to be baptized.

Invite family and friends to celebrate this incredible step of obedience and faith! It's time to celebrate your baptism!
