PRAYER

Membership at Rainier Valley is a commitment to our family, and a commitment from our family to you. We take membership seriously. The Bible teaches that the earliest Christian communities saw themselves as belonging to one another (Romans 12:5), having all things in common (Acts 4:32) and were committed to each other (Romans 12:10). Christians are called to regularly gather together (Hebrews 10:23-25), to encourage one another (Hebrews 3:12-14), to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20), to protect each other from sin (James 5:19-20), to guard against hypocrisy (Matthew 18:15-18), and to be built up by the regular teaching of God’s Word (Hebrews 13:17).

To faithfully follow these commands, Rainier Valley Church has established church membership to encourage and hold believers accountable to live together as a family of Jesus-loving, Bible-believing, gospel-centered, Spirit-filled, multi-cultural, mission-minded people. Members foster deep, authentic, God-glorifying, sin-fighting relationships and forward the mission of making disciples who make disciples.

We would love to encourage you to become a member and join the family of God here at Rainier Valley Church.

Rainier Valley Church is passionate about fulfilling Jesus’ mandate to make disciples who make disciples (Matthew 28: 18-20) so that every member becomes a mature and fully-equipped followers of Jesus (Ephesians 4: 11-16).

We believe that in Community Groups (CGs), Christians are coming together regularly to discover how our lives were meant to be lived in Jesus and empowered by the Spirit.   It's our desire  that CG's cultivate fully-formed followers of Jesus in the everyday stuff of life.

A Community Group is a group of 10-12 people who live life together by regularly meeting throughout the week to eat, learn, pray, study the scriptures and do ordinary life together following the way of Jesus.

Join us and follow the way of Jesus in community.  If you'd like more information on how you can be a part, please fill out your information below and we will get back with you.

Our Mission

  • Show the love and joy of Christ to every child and family who walks through our doors

  • Teach the good news of the Gospel through lessons that are rooted in Biblical truth and delivered in engaging & relevant instruction

  • Fulfill the Great Commission by Making Disciples of Jesus from a young age where children see their great need for a Savior and the joy of following Jesus

RVC Kids is a fun, safe and engaging place for your child to learn about Jesus while they connect with other children.  We believe having fun is one of the best ways for children to be excited about going to church, learn about God his Son and what He did on the cross for all of us.

We hope to bring the scripture to life for our children to show them the wonder, love and majesty of God's word.
